Heavy Rainfall Expected overnight 13th March 2019

Good Evening

We are expecting heavy rainfall again overnight tonight Wednesday 13th March into early hours Thursday 14th March.

We currently have four Flood Alerts in place for Lower River Eden, Upper Derwent and Stonethwaite Beck, Rivers Brathay Rothay and Winster and Duddon, Crake and Mill Beck.  We also have one flood warning in place for Keswick Campsite.  Further information can be found on the Gov.uk website.

We are not expecting to issue any further Flood Alerts or Flood Warnings at this time.

We are in a period of unsettled weather for the next few days and continue to monitor the situation closely.
